Starting

We decided to build upon Miro's Progressive Photon Map (PPM) raytracer. We had already expanded this in the course "Rendering Algorithms", so we took the edition of that raytracer, that was handed in as handin 3.
Then we stripped this raytracer from anything, that we didn't need, and then had a simple PPM raytracer with only the basics.

We started out with Photon Beams, based on this paper:
